At Cassell Architects, we typically calculate fees for our core professional services as a percentage of the estimated construction cost. This ensures our fees are proportionate to the scale, complexity, and scope of the project.
We align our services with the RIBA Plan of Work and tailor our fee proposals to reflect the specific stages we are appointed for. The percentages applied can vary depending on a number of factors including project type, project size, level of detail, procurement route, and the level of service required.
Typical percentage fee ranges for each core service and RIBA Work Stage are outlined below. These serve as a guide and will form the basis of a clear, written fee proposal provided at the outset of each project appointment.
